Irene is a warm and intentional Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who provides therapy and assessment services for children, teens, and adults. She has experience supporting clients through trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety, mood challenges, and relational struggles. She creates a safe space for clients to explore and process past experiences and supports them in their journey to heal the emotional, behavioural, and thought patterns that leave them feeling stuck. Through this process, she helps clients build greater confidence, cultivate inner peace, and develop healthier, more secure relationships with themselves and others.
With a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, certification in Emotion-Focused Therapy, and training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed approaches, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), Irene takes an integrative and individualized approach that balances flexibility with structure. She tailors her work to each client’s unique needs and lived experiences, while remaining grounded in their broader goals and values, ensuring that sessions feel purposeful and aligned with the long-term changes they want to create in their lives.
Irene works collaboratively with clients to explore the deeper emotions and influences that shape their lives, supporting them in discovering new ways to move forward. She also provides practical tools to help clients navigate everyday challenges and build greater resilience. Fluent in English and Russian, and shaped by her experience growing up in a culturally and religiously diverse home, Irene welcomes clients from all walks of life
